Harbin, also known as Ice City, is a prefecture-level city, provincial capital, sub-provincial city, megacity and core city of Harbin and Changchun City Group in Heilongjiang Province. Located in Northeast China and the center of Northeast Asia, Harbin is the political, economic and cultural center of the northern part of Northeast China. It is known as the pearl of the Eurasian Land Bridge, the international comprehensive transportation hub of the first Eurasian Land Bridge and air corridor, and the starting point of the Hadaki Industrial Corridor.
